Angela lives with her wonderful partner and daughters on Birpai Lands, Port Macquarie, NSW. She has been driving community and organisation-led approaches to complex challenges for the last 19 years across urban, rural and remote communities. The focus of Angela's work has predominantly been on co-creating new cultures, curriculum and programming around enhancing social and emotional wellbeing, attitudinal and behaviour change, and managing change.
Angela has managed highly-regarded projects across Australia and more recently in Bangkok, Thailand and now Timor Leste. Angela's work has included developing educational resources, designing and facilitating training workshops on the LOVE BiTES, ALL CHILDREN BEING SAFE and Growing Respect programs. Angela has enabled and mentored collaborative partnerships with public and private schools, preschools, non-government organisations, government departments, and Indigenous organisations. These partnerships have led to the upscaling, local adaptation and embedding of social and emotional wellbeing curriculum and respectful relationships programs across Australia.
Angela has written and contributed to organisational strategic frameworks, Australian national standards and plans, submissions and reports on respectful relationships and social and emotional wellbeing programming for children and young people. Angela has an Honours degree in Politics and Social Policy, a Graduate Diploma in Adolescent Health and Welfare and is currently completing a Science Masters in Epidemiology.
